In the future, will this possible that matter/thread compatible wifi devices related automation are stored locally , similarly with Local/LAN linkage on Zigbee gateways?

For example, if i have a Tuya matter gateway (THP10-Z-X) and connect it to a wifi matter device , i able to make a automation than store it in the Tuya matter hub? (like it work with zigbee devices currently)

Here are several scenarios (with a Matter hub):
If the Wi-Fi device is a third-party Matter over Wi-Fi device, the automation is local.
If it is a Tuya Matter over Wi-Fi device and this device supports LAN linkage, then automation can be stored locally on the gateway.
As for whether this Wi-Fi device supports LAN linkage, you can consult the corresponding device's vendor.
Thank you!
