Re: Zigbee Locks via Matter in Home Assistant
I've added your gateway device to a whitelist for upgrading to a new version. You can upgrade it and then verify the doorlock device bridging situation.

Thank you! I have upgraded the hub device and rebooted. No change in behaviour of the locks. I can unlock them using Matter, but locking them times out after 30 seconds, as it did before.
Do I need to do anything at the lock?
Could you please unbind and then re-bind the door lock for verification? After that, please send the new device ID and gateway ID. I hope to verify that it has obtained the correct conversion file.
Have removed and re-added. No change.

Also removed and re-added one of my other locks. Same result.

RebelMagpie 2025年 Jan 20日 17:09I have 4 Tuya zigbee locks
3x deadlocks, ID: bf17b2f494f86f27a86y53
e.g.https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNoDiXN1x mortice lock with handle, ID: bf2379caed03ea0c6fygsz
e.g. https://a.aliexpress.com/_mNByxarAll connected to a Zemismart M1 Matter hub, ID: bf8d9d92318c34b022d6qh.
All 4 locks show up in Home Assistant via the Matter integration, and I can see the lock state correctly.
However, only the mortice lock allows me to control the lock from Home Assistant. I can unlock and lock the mortice lock directly from the Matter device entity in Home Assistant.
The 3 deadlocks show their status (locked/unlocked) in Home Assistant, but if I try to control them, they show "Unlocking" (or "Locking") for about a minute before reverting to the original state. Nothing happens at the lock
I would like to be able to control all the locks from within Home Assistant. Are you able to help?
Hi RebelMagpie, may I know if the matter hub has the data of which user unlocks the door? For example admin 1 unlocks the door via the fingerprint. Or user 2 unlocks the door via the fingerprint. This function is available in tuya app, but not sure if its available via matter hub currently
Yes, it does. The "Records" tab in the lock entity shows which fingerprint or passcode operated it.
Wow that's amazing. So basically with this matter hub, even if there is no internet, everything will still be working for 3 of your locks? I am putting an order now
Apologies, that's in the Tuya app, not Home Assistant
Oh, so there is no way for Home Assistant to know which user unlocks the door lock without internet at the moment?
