ZigBee Signal Detection Fails in Tuya Smart App (v6.9.5) – Gateway BT

Hello everyone,

Since updating to Tuya Smart app version 6.9.5, I’ve been experiencing issues with the Device Signal Detection feature on my ZigBee BT Gateway.

Steps I follow:
Select the ZigBee BT Gateway
Choose a connected ZigBee device
Launch Device Signal Detection

Problems observed:
Sometimes I get a “failed to fetch” error
When it works, detection takes 34 seconds
When it fails, it takes up to 60 seconds

This issue started on September 3, 2025 and occurs every time. I’ve submitted a support ticket (ID: T202509100028), but I’d like to know if others have faced similar problems and whether any workaround exists.

Hello,
I have a few questions that I need your answers to:
(1) Are you using the signal detection function for a single Zigbee device? If so, please provide an operation screenshot of the app.
(2) Are you detecting low-power sub-devices? Or strong electronic devices? Or do both types of devices behave the same?
(3) Please provide your gateway ID and perform the operation again. Also, attach the operation time and the specific ID of the sub-device being operated on, so that I can conduct a practical analysis.
