I am experiencing several issues with my Moes Matter gateway and its connected devices in Apple HomeKit.

Gateway details:

Gateway ID: bf122edc7027b96f1eiefb

Main module version: V1.12.6

Other type version: V3.7.2

Problem 1: Temperature sensor reporting incorrect values

Device ID: bf3a3683aa35b8ddefcres

In Apple HomeKit, this sensor always shows a fixed value of 20°C, while in Tuya Smart the temperature updates
correctly.

Problem 2: Water leak sensors displayed incorrectly

Device IDs: bf2663c6bb4a82117cep2d and bfecf8d37229551000baca

In Apple HomeKit, both devices appear as door contact sensors and are always shown as “open.”

In Tuya Smart, their status updates correctly when water leakage is detected.

Problem 3: Infrared Zigbee remote controls (Moes UFO R11)

Device IDs: bfd53b9f13ee62fba4zsqw and bf2e62354900352a62jrsb

Question: Is it possible to expose these devices to Matter so that they are visible and functional in Apple HomeKit?

Firmware update issue:

I have noticed that a new firmware version for the Matter gateway has been released, but in the Tuya Smart app it shows “No updates available.”

Request:
Could you please clarify:

Why some devices (temperature and water leak sensors) are not mapped correctly into HomeKit through Matter?

If there are plans or solutions to expose Moes UFO R11 Zigbee IR remotes to Matter/HomeKit?

How can I manually update my gateway firmware if the Tuya Smart app does not offer the latest version?

Thank you in advance for your assistance.

Re: Issues with Moes Matter Gateway Device Integration into Apple HomeKit

I have configured the new version whitelist for the gateway and performed cloud-based setup for the temperature/humidity sensor and water leak sensor. They should now function normally. We recommend unpairing the devices after upgrading the gateway and retrying.
Regarding the infrared Zigbee remote control device, it does not appear directly in HomeKit. Instead, it creates virtual infrared sub-devices. Currently, it only supports bridging two types of sub-devices: TVs and air conditioners.

Re: Issues with Moes Matter Gateway Device Integration into Apple HomeKit

After updating the gateway, the water leak sensors started working correctly. The temperature sensor also works. However, it shows the battery level incorrectly in HomeKit — it constantly displays 1% (although this is not critical). As for the infrared remotes, I reconnected them to the gateway, added two virtual remotes for air conditioners and one for the TV, but none of them appeared in HomeKit.
I also have a water valve with ID: bf5509b6bf1272495e7ekr, which shows up in HomeKit as a regular switch instead of a water valve. I would like to ask you to fix this. Thank you.
