I’ve been testing a Tasmota-based smart plug (an Athom Plug V3 / PG01EU16A) running Tasmota 14.2.0 (release-tasmota32) with Matter support enabled. My setup:
Tuya Matter Hub: THP10-Z-X
Tasmota Matter Settings: Matter Enable = ON, Force Static Endpoints (non-bridge) = ON
Endpoints Created:
Relay (Parameter = 1) for on/off
Power meter endpoints (Power, Voltage, Current)
Using the Tuya Smart Life app, the hub successfully commissions the plug (the Tasmota console confirms that a Matter Fabric is created and the device is paired). (Virtual id bf12d1oastzwlcsq)
However:
The Tuya hub does not show the plug’s on/off control.
Power consumption data (wattage, voltage, etc.) is not visible in the Tuya interface.
The Tasmota Matter log shows partial success, but also multiple “unsupported attribute” or “0xC3” errors, suggesting incomplete cluster handling.
I have tried:
Different endpoint definitions (OnOff vs. Relay).
Auto-discover and manual creation of endpoints.
Re-pairing with Commissioning open, toggling bridge mode on/off.
Despite Tasmota sending valid power metrics via MQTT, those values do not appear in the Tuya app under Matter.
Has anyone else integrated a Tasmota Matter device with the THP10-Z-X gateway and successfully seen on/off + consumption? I’d appreciate any guidance or official advice from the Tuya developer community on whether there are firmware updates, specific cluster configurations, or debug steps that could help.
Thank you in advance for your support!
