Standard Linux Application to control Tuya WiFi thermostatic radiator valves

Hello,
could you please clarify if it is possible (and what are the steps to follow) to have an application running on a standard Linux PC controlling a WiFi Tuya thermostatic radiator valve? In detail, I would like the communication between the application and the Tuya device to be completely local, i.e. with no cloud involved.
