Hello, the Livarno e14 light (https://www.lidl.de/p/livarno-home-4er- ... p800003003) does not expose the color and white temperature controls through the Matter hub; only brightness can be changed. I have checked with Home Assistant and Alexa. I would like to know if this can be fixed, and the color and white temperature could be controlled as with the Smart Life app. Thank you.

done. please unbind the same pid light device, restart the gateway and then rebind it to do test.

Thank you, the color and white temperature can now be controlled; however, now there is a problem with whites, when setting the white temperature from Matter, the right mode does get applied to the light (and gets reflected in the Smart Life app), but it is not reflected back to Matter, and the light state shows some color instead of white. The colors and brightness work as they should.

Simply click the "tab" button to switch the mode, and the indicator light will change. This is an optimization made within the Tuya ecosystem. Matter does not support this. If you want to synchronize the mode change to Apple and other Matter ecosystems, you must adjust the color temperature of the white light or the color of the colored light.

Re: Livarno e14 color and white temperature control missing

I believe I have been misunderstood. I have a different color and white light, which functions properly, which makes me believe it's a problem with the light rather than a Matter protocol limitation. Here is what happens: the screenshot below shows the Smart Life state, which shows the cool white color (which is the actual state of the light). The Matter is showing that the light is green, while it should be cool white as well:

Here is the Matter state, the light is green instead of cool white:

Looking at the Matter cluster states, the light is reporting ColorMode value 0 of ColorControl Cluster, when I believe it should be 2 for the white temperature:

Here is an example of a different light, connected to the same gateway, set to the same cool white setting:

The Matter is showing the cold white (the actual state of the light) and not color, as it should. The ColorMode state is 2.
