Please fix - Devices are not working via the Matter hub.

Hello,

I would like to report a compatibility issue involving the Nova Digital 6-button Zigbee switch.

Scenario

  • When the switch is paired with a standard Tuya-compatible Zigbee hub, all six buttons work correctly.
  • Automations created in the Tuya app are triggered as expected.
  • Button press events are detected without any issues.

However, when the same switch is paired with the Zemismart M1 hub, the behavior is completely different.

Issues

  1. None of the button press events are detected in the Tuya app.
  2. Automations based on the button presses are never triggered.
  3. The buttons exported to SmartThings also do not work.
  4. The device is successfully paired with the hub, but no button press events are recognized.

Important observation

Since the switch works correctly with other Tuya-compatible Zigbee hubs, the hardware appears to be functioning properly. The issue seems to be related to the Zemismart M1 hub's implementation or compatibility with this device, most likely in the way it handles the Zigbee button event clusters sent by the switch.

I kindly ask your engineering team to investigate this compatibility issue and provide a firmware update or fix so that the Nova Digital 6-button Zigbee switch works properly with the Zemismart M1 hub, including:

  • Correct detection of button press events in the Tuya app.
  • Proper execution of automations.
  • Correct export of button events to SmartThings.

Thank you. The previous issue has now been resolved.

However, I am still experiencing problems with other devices from the same product line when they are synchronized with SmartThings.

4-button switch

In addition to the four standard button devices, an extra device representing four scenes is also created.

In addition to the three standard button devices, an extra device representing three scenes is also created.

2-button switch + power outlet with energy monitoring

When this device is synchronized with SmartThings, six button devices are created. Only three of them work correctly, while the other three do not respond.

In addition, the power outlet switch itself is not exposed to SmartThings, and the energy monitoring capability is also missing.

Could you please investigate these issues as well? It seems that the device mapping between Tuya/Zemismart and SmartThings is not being generated correctly for these models.
