Hi!

I have some Zigbee PIR sensors and they are all presenting the same problem, sometimes they detect a movement and it crashes in the detected movement mode.

It is necessary to restart manually

Re: Zigbee PIR Sensors

Hi, To better analyze the problem, please provide the following information:

  1. Is the PIR based on TuyaOS? If so, please attach the device logs when the problem occurred.

  2. Please provide the device's virtual ID and the time the problem occurred.

Re: Zigbee PIR Sensors

In this case there was a movement at 07:29 AM, and it locked as detected movement until I restarted it the next day at 10:56 AM

Virtual ID: eb08d7e21905b87dc5cnph

I'm attaching an image of the logs

Re: Zigbee PIR Sensors

HI,Thank you for providing the information.

We reviewed the device logs and initially determined that the device has been operating normally since November 6th, without any freezes or crashes.

However, we observed that the PIR and gateway seem to be quite far apart, or there is some interference between them. The signal strength between them is not very good.

Furthermore, your gateway also seems to frequently go offline and back online for short periods, which may be due to a poor router network, potentially causing the PIR to fail to report data to the cloud.

Therefore, we suggest you check the following two aspects:

  1. Are there any obstructions or interference between the PIR and gateway?
  2. Is the router's network stable?

Re: Zigbee PIR Sensors

Hello,
Thank you for your help
The gateway is connected via network cable and my network is very good. But the gateway is a little far, I'll change it closer to the sensors.
Is this problem recurrent?

Re: Zigbee PIR Sensors

HI,
I think there should be an improvement. You can test it for a while and see. If there are still problems, please let me know.
