Hello,
The soil tester (Virtual ID: bf6f8107ab2dfc1d1fbd1g) doesn’t get exposed over Matter. Is it possible to enable it? It could be displayed as a standard temperature and humidity sensor.

Hello,
Thank you very much for your feedback.
I will update the configuration information of this type of device later. Please remove this device and configure it again after you see the reply.
Hope to get your good reply next time.
Re: Tuya smart soil tester not exposed over Matter
Thank you for your response.
It seems that the temperature is being displayed as humidity, and the humidity is being displayed as temperature.
However, when the humidity is below 100%, it shows 0,X degrees Celsius, and when it is 100%, it shows 1 degree Celsius.
When the temperature in the Tuya app is 21 degrees Celsius with 20% humidity, Homekit via Matter shows 0,2 degrees Celsius and 21% humidity.

Sorry, there seems to be a typo, I don't understand a bit.
When the temperature in tuya APP shows 21 degrees, does homekit show 0.2 degrees? And then when tuya says 21% humidity, homekit says 20% humidity?
Please help me to confirm whether the data is accurate.
Of course, it would be better if there were other more data to refer to.
(In fact, I have checked the configuration, and I do not think there is an exchange of temperature and humidity for the moment)
By the way, happy Christmas Eve~
Re: Tuya smart soil tester not exposed over Matter
Thank you, and a Merry Christmas Eve to you too!
Indeed, my previous explanation might have been a bit unclear, but based on further observations, I’ve noticed the following:
• The temperature from the Tuya app seems to be displayed in HomeKit as humidity.
• Similarly, the humidity from the Tuya app appears to be shown in HomeKit as temperature.
Below are some measurements I have taken:
1.Tuya:
• Temperature: 21℃
• Humidity: 20%
1.Homekit:
• Temperature: 0.2℃
• Humidity: 21%
2.Tuya:
• Temperature: 24℃
• Humidity: 60%
2.Homekit:
• Temperature: 0.6℃
• Humidity: 24%
3.Tuya:
• Temperature: 21℃
• Humidity: 100%
3.Homekit:
• Temperature: 1℃
• Humidity: 21%
4.Tuya:
• Temperature: 22℃
• Humidity: 10%
4.Homekit:
• Temperature: 0.1℃
• Humidity: 22%
Re: Tuya smart soil tester not exposed over Matter
Thank you very much for the data you provided, which is of great help to me. Later, I will make further analysis based on the information, and I will inform you immediately if there is any new progress.
Re: Tuya smart soil tester not exposed over Matter
I have re-updated the configuration, please try to remove it again. I guess there may be a decimal point problem, looking forward to your next reply.
Re: Tuya smart soil tester not exposed over Matter
The humidity now displays correctly, which is great. However, as you mentioned earlier, there seems to be an issue with the decimal point in the temperature.
•20 ℃ in the Tuya app is displayed as 2 ℃ in HomeKit.
•21 ℃ in the Tuya app is displayed as 2.1 ℃ in HomeKit.
•22 ℃ in the Tuya app is displayed as 2.2 ℃ in HomeKit.

Re: Tuya smart soil tester not exposed over Matter
I have optimized this problem, please try again!
Re: Tuya smart soil tester not exposed over Matter
Thank you very much for your help. You did a great job. Everything works perfectly. Now this is probably the first Tuya soil sensor (SGS01Z) fully compatible with the Matter Bridge.
