Indeed, absolutely.
Turning on and off light with a button should optionally have priority over automations (in short).

Thank you for your reply. Maybe let me give you two examples to clarify things: I go out in the garden at night. I think this device isn't supported by the Matter standard. But if it reports a binary value (rain: yes/no), it could be exposed as a contact sensor as a workaround...

Thank you for your very quick help.
It now works as a switch. But isn't it possible to expose it as an actual garage door opener? HomeKit can do it, but I'm not sure if Matter supports garage doors.

This garage door opener (ID: bf9832ca61e904fbc7fsal) doesn't get exposed over Matter.
Could you enable it?

Sorry for my late reply. It works, battery now shows up in Matter (Home, HAS). The device mostly now appears as "not responding" in Home (fine in Tuya and HAS) though. I'm not sure if it's related, I just wanted to document this. Tomorrow I will do more testing. Edit: It really works perfe...
